State Secretary Van Rij of Finance – Fiscality and Tax Authorities answered questions from various parliamentary parties in the memorandum in response to the report accompanying the bill for the Additional Purchasing Power Measures Act (36088).
In mid-March 2022, the cabinet announced additional purchasing power measures for the year 2022. The bill for the Additional Purchasing Power Measures Act (36088) regulates, among other things, the reduction of the VAT on energy from 21% to 9% and a reduction of the excise duty on petrol, diesel and LPG. by 21% as of April 1, 2022.
