The provisions on cash registers require that VAT taxpayers record and issue receipts for each sale to natural persons. However, the problem is the weather and the shortage of electricity. If the cash register is not working, you cannot sell. The store needs to be closed – the MPs noticed the problem in a recent interpellation to the Minister of Finance. We have the department’s reply.
