The European Commission has approved Poland’s plan to make B2B electronic invoicing mandatory, in accordance with the request made on August 2, 2021. Thanks to this approval, Poland can advance in its desire to generalize mandatory B2B electronic invoicing from 2023 Companies will have to use the national KSeF platform, which has been available since January 1, 2022 for voluntary companies.
All invoices issued will have to be declared through a central platform called National Electronic Invoicing System – KSeF, similar to the Italian SdI.
To encourage the use of the new platform, the government announced, for tax incentive purposes, a reduction in the VAT refund period (20 days instead of 40 or 60). In addition, voluntary taxpayers may be exempted from declaring the JPK_FA file.
