Following UAE Federal Tax Authority’s footsteps, Bahrain’s National Bureau for Revenue has announced the introduction of Digital Tax Stamps on Excise Goods starting from the 15 of May 2022 for imported Cigarettes, and retailed Cigarettes starting 14 of August 2022.
