- The extension of the temporarily reduced VAT rate of 6% for the demolition and reconstruction of residential homes until December 31, 2023 (this scheme would normally expire at the end of this year).
- Extension of the temporarily reduced VAT rate from 6% until September 30, 2022 for the supply of electricity for household customers.
- Introduction of a temporarily reduced VAT rate of 6% until 30 September 2022 for the supply of natural gas and heat (via heat networks). This reduction is also limited to household contracts.
- The introduction of a reduced VAT rate of 6% for the period 1 April 2022 to 31 December 2023 for the installation of solar panels, solar water heaters and heat pumps.
