Colombia’s Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Tourism has issued Decree 307 of 3 March 2022, which provides for a temporary reduction in the customs duty (tariff) rate on the import of basic household goods and inputs, such as flour, cereals, cooking oil, paper, agricultural seeds, and others. The rate for the specified goods is reduced to 0% for a period of 6 months starting from 3 March 2022 in order to reduce inflationary pressures on consumers.
