The cabinet is allocating 2.8 billion euros for purchasing power recovery this year, Minister Karien van Gennip (Social Affairs) reported Friday after the cabinet meeting. Of that money, people with low incomes will receive 800 euros for the energy bill, instead of the 200 euros that had been promised earlier.
