From February 15, 2022, you only need a VAT certificate for your applications to the DIV for the renewal of a dealer plate or an additional dealer plate.
You can request a VAT certificate:
- for the renewal of a merchant plate: between October 1 and February 28 (or February 29 in leap years).
- for an additional dealer plate: all year round .
You therefore no longer need to request a VAT certificate for test drive plates and professional plates. You can obtain these number plates and their renewal directly from the FPS Mobility and Transport.
