SLIM VAT 3 pre-consultation extended until 23 February

• SLIM VAT 3 is another package of simplifications in the tax on goods and services.
• It is over 20 new solutions that meet many demands submitted to the Ministry of Finance by entrepreneurs.
• SLIM VAT 3 includes simpler invoicing, reduction of formalities and improvement of financial liquidity of companies.
• At the request of entrepreneurs, we are extending the pre-consultation of the project until February 23, 2022.

The third SLIM VAT package removes many outdated, unnecessary obligations incumbent on companies. The proposed changes were divided into 7 areas:

1. Improving the financial liquidity of companies.
2. VAT in international trade – less formalities.
3. Broader scope of VAT exemptions.
4. Fewer corrections and friendly VAT settlement.
5. Easier invoicing and fewer obligations.
6. Lowering VAT sanctions.
7. Consolidation and standardization of binding information – easier and more transparent access to tax knowledge.
