The French Presidency of the Council of the European Union held a conference on 10 February 2022 to discuss the harmonization of rules for e-invoicing throughout the EU. Currently, electronic invoicing is mandatory in public procurement, while its use is developing in business-to-business transactions but is not yet widespread.
