The Government issued Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP for regulating invoices and vouchers in accordance with the Tax Administration Law. One of the most significant new provisions of Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP is that it mandates the administration and use of electronic invoicing (HDDT) beginning on July 1, 2022, thereby eliminating the need for paper invoices. Quang Ninh Tax Department demonstrated the superiority of using e-invoices over paper invoices because e-invoices always bring buyers and sellers transparency and fairness in their production and business activities.
