Slovakia, officially the Slovak Republic is a country in Central Europe, bordered by Poland, Ukraine, Hungary, Austria, and the Czech Republic. The history of fiscalization is pretty long in this country since requirements for issuing fiscal receipts in retail have been introduced in 1995.
Following the approved bill amending the Act on Prices (resulting from the amendment to Act No. 18/1996 Coll. On Prices), the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic has prepared a series of frequently asked questions and answers regarding rounding and reducing the circulation of 1 and 2 cent coins. But they will remain legal tender. The mathematical method of rounding is a neutral, fair way for both parties, the trader and the buyer. The monthly cost of rounding is a range of 0-2 cents. The final purchase price is rounded up if it is paid in cash.
