This was clarified by the Inland Revenue with the response to ruling no. 51 of 25 January 2022 with which he specified that on the basis of the legislation still in force, the supplies of surgical sutures referred to in the customs heading 30.06.10 of the common nomenclature of the current customs tariff, to which the product in question would seem similar, are subject to the rate ordinary VAT.
