New invoice requirements are introduced from 1 January 2022, including that all registered operators are required to issue Fiscal Tax Invoices printed by a fiscal electronic register or fiscal memory device. Tax invoices generated before 1 January 2022 must be claimed by 31 March 2022.
It is also provided that the compulsory registration threshold for VAT is increased to ZWD 7,800,000 or USD 60,000. The Category C threshold (monthly tax period) is increased to ZWD 31,200,000 or USD 240,000.
