RETT = Real Estate Transaction Tax
On 15 December 2021, Saudi Arabia’s Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) published (in Arabic) proposed amendments for public consultation to the implementing regulations for the real estate transaction tax (RETT). The RETT was introduced with effect as from 4 October 2020.
