The Spanish Ministry of Finance (MoF) announced that the super-reduced VAT rate of 4% on disposable surgical masks and 0% VAT rate for the importation of medical supplies to combat COVID acquired by public administrations, health centers, and social entities will be extended until 30 June 2022. The super-reduced tax rate remains as one of the lowest in the EU. The General State Budget of the Government aims to bounce back from the pandemic by 2022.
