In Letter No. 03-07-08/64188 issued on 10 August 2021, the Russian Ministry of Finance clarifies that application of the zero VAT rate with respect to work related to aircraft repair is not covered by article 164 of the Russian Tax Code; hence, such work is subject to VAT in Russia at the standard rate of 20%.
