Following elections held in October 2021, the draft government bill for the introduction of a Digital Services Tax (DST) was withdrawn from parliament. Although the newly elected government could reintroduce the draft bill, this is not expected considering recent developments in the OECD Two-Pillar Solution for international tax reform, which includes measures to address the taxation of the digital economy.
