On November 17, the Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy at its meeting by videoconference in the second reading considered the draft laws “On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine to support scientific and scientific-technical activities” (№ 5498 ) and “On Amendments to Of the Customs Code of Ukraine on the support of scientific and scientific and technical activities “(№ 5499 ). The draft laws are aimed at supporting scientific and scientific-technical institutions by exempting them from customs duties and value added tax on goods, devices and materials imported into the customs territory of Ukraine for use in scientific activities.
