The government wants to force streaming service operators, such as Netflix, HBO, Amazon Prime, to pay a 4% tax on revenues obtained in Romania from single subscriptions and transactions, money that would go to the Film Fund managed by The National Center of Cinematography (CNC), which finances the national film production, reveals data analyzed by Profit.ro.
