The regulation on VAT refund to travelers in the TAX FREE system requires that the sales documentation, which is also received by buyers from outside the European Union, also includes the seller’s data – these will include name and surname, and – in most cases – PESEL number. According to experts, this information is completely unnecessary and creates a risk of using personal data.
