Italy has published Decree-Law No. 130 of 27 September 2021 in the Official Gazette, which contains urgent measures to contain the effects of price increases in the electricity and natural gas sector. Specific measures include a temporary super-reduced VAT rate of 5% on supplies of natural gas for domestic and industrial purposes in the period October, November, and December 2021.
