Revolution for VAT rates: the Draghi-Franco tax reform, launched on Oct 5, 2021 by the Council of Ministers, will focus in particular on tax measures and on the basket of products subject to preferential taxation (reduced VAT rates), with the aim of simplifying taxation, counteract erosion and evasion and increase efficiency in harmony with EU rules.
