Now that working from home is the norm more and more, more and more private homes have a workspace. If you rent out this workspace as a DGA VAT-taxed to your own BV, you were allowed to deduct the VAT on the construction and other costs of the workspace until now. Recently, the Tax and Customs Administration increasingly refuses to deduct VAT when renting out (independent) workspace in one’s own home.
