The use of the Katso service in MyTax and in the Tax Administration’s other e-services ends on 31 August 2021.
As of the beginning of September, Katso IDs and Katso authorisations can no longer be used in any central government services. If you manage tax matters on behalf of a company or an organisation, you will need a Suomi.fi authorisation.
“The Tax Administration extended the time limit twice to give the Katso users more time to adapt to the change. An extension was granted because the users were switching over to Suomi.fi authorisations at the turn of the year less eagerly than expected. The last period of transition ends at the end of August,” says Juha Kartano, Senior Adviser at the Tax Administration.
