The Executive is processing the draft of the Create and Grow Law in which it intends to universalize the digital invoice for all the self-employed in order to tackle commercial delinquency. The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation has already begun the process of the public hearing for the Draft Law. The universal electronic invoice is the fundamental pillar of this new Draft Law to combat late payments. According to the ministry, delinquency is one of the main causes of liquidity and profitability problems in the Spanish economy, especially for the self-employed and small businesses.
