The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) of the U.S. Commerce Department today released for publication in the Federal Register a final rule that amends the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) by adding six entities to the entity list.
The six entities—all added under the destination of Russia—have been determined by the U.S. government to be acting contrary to the national security or foreign policy interests of the United States.
The final rule also corrects one existing entry on the entity list under the destination of Russia.
