Although the economic recovery seems to have started in the meantime, the health crisis has obviously had a major impact on the activity of many companies. To support that fledgling economic recovery, we are happy to help you by developing an individual repayment plan for corona debts that you cannot pay in one go. For example, we can spread your payments over a maximum of 24 months and in exceptional cases 36 months . Large companies can even request an installment plan of up to 50 months . This flexible installment plan provides oxygen to your business, giving you time to recover financially.
Who is eligible for this scheme?
All companies that only have ‘corona debts’ (debts arise from 1 January 2020).
How do you request such a payment plan?
- Request your payment plan online via MyMinfin.be(link is external).
- In the ‘Special or exceptional circumstance’ box (step 6) state the word ‘Covid’. By submitting the application, you agree that we will assess the impact of the current crisis on your company and, for example, check your turnover figures.
- If you would like a 36-month repayment plan, please also mention the exceptional circumstances that motivate your application in this same box. For example: you started your company just before the start of the Covid-19 crisis or you just made important investments.
- Are you a large company and do you want a repayment plan over a maximum of 50 months? Then state ‘GO’ in the box ‘Special or exceptional circumstance’ (step 6).
- You can also propose a payment rhythm other than a fixed monthly amount in this box. For example, you can propose to start with smaller payments that increase in the following months.
