Implementation emergency track implementation guidelines VAT e-commerce on schedule
On 25 June 2021, State Secretary Vijlbrief and State Secretary Van Huffelen of Finance informed the House of Representatives about the progress of the implementation of the EU legislative package for levying VAT on electronic commerce.
The good news is that the implementation of the new rules via the so-called emergency track with which the implementation will be realized from 1 July 2021 is on schedule. The identified risks have so far not manifested themselves.
