The Lithuanian government has announced a reduction in VAT from 21% to 9% from 1 July 2021 to 31 December 2022.
The below are some of the services that are included in this reduced VAT rate are:
- Art and cultural establishments;
- Cinemas;
- Sport events;
- Gyms;
- Personal trainers;
- Performance services (singers, musician, dancers and actors etc);
- Catering and cafes; and
- Restaurants and take away food providers.
Alcohol is not included in this VAT reduction.
