On 11 May 2021, the Hungarian Ministry of Finance announced its summer tax package. Key VAT measures in the package include new VAT refund procedures with regard to bad debts and for UK taxpayers. The final package is expected to be approved by parliament in June 2021 and may be amended during the parliamentary process.
