- Warmia and Mazury National Tax Administration (KAS) detected VAT fraud in the trade in food products.
- About 200 entities from Poland, the EU, Asia and Africa participated in the procedure.
- The losses of the Treasury amounted to over PLN 18 million.
- The inspected entity returned over PLN 9.5 million of tax to the budget, the remaining amount of PLN 8.5 million was divided into installments.
KAS detected a VAT fraud mechanism involving over 100 entities from Poland and the EU, as well as several dozen entities from Asia and Africa.
