This includes an extension of the 6% reduced VAT rate provided for products needed for personal hygiene and protection from COVID-19 until 31 December 2021, including medical masks and gloves, soap, antiseptics, and ethyl alcohol (for production of antiseptics). The release also confirmed an extension of the 13% reduced VAT rate for specific goods and services until 30 September 2021.
