The Ugandan Tax Authority ( URA ) has developed the EFRIS billing system for VAT reporting of business transactions.
From January 1, 2021, Ugandan companies must use the EFRIS ( Electronic Fiscal Receipting and Invoicing System ) system to report issued invoices and cash receipts electronically to the URA.
