On 28 December 2020, the Paraguayan tax authorities issued General Resolution No. 76/2020, which provides for the application of value added tax (VAT) and nonresident tax (INR) on digital services provided by nonresident entities operating in the country. The resolution entered into force on 1 January 2021.
