Law 4758/2020, which was published in the Government Gazette on 4/12/2020, introduces a number of significant measures affecting excise products, such as fuel, tobacco and alcohol. The relevant objectives of the new law are twofold: to relief businesses from the burden of taxes payable on consumption, in view of the impact of COVID-19 pandemic and to tackle smuggling
