Upcoming changes in Belgium: VAT rate reduction handgels, mouthmasks, construction works & Quid E-Invoicing

Newsitems on Belgium in the week of Nov 1:

• VAT reduction (6%) on handgels and mouth masks extended – the exact ending date of the extension is not yet known

• VAT 6% VAT on demolition and reconstruction of private residences

• Increase in excise duties on tobacco products

• Will the VAT Gap be lowered due to possible introduction f mandatory B2B E-Invoicing? (Note that there are no concrete plans whasoever to implement mandatory B2B E-invoicing!!!)
