September 30, 2020 was the deadline for reclaiming VAT that you paid in other EU countries in 2019. Unfortunately, our website ‘Refund of VAT from other EU countries’ was overloaded the days before that date, and therefore difficult to reach. It is possible that your request for a VAT refund has arrived too late at the tax authorities of another EU country. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We have now informed the other EU countries about the malfunction of our site. And we asked them to be flexible with the refund requests they received shortly after the deadline. These countries decide for themselves whether or not to do so.
