The General Authority of Zakat and Taxes ( GAZT) in KSA has initiated consultation process with the taxpayers and other stakeholders to seek their opinion on the draft electronic invoicing regulations. The GAZT stated that the regulations aims to reduce the administrative burden on taxpayers, improve the tax commitment and limit the volume of hidden economic transactions.
The comments and proposal on the draft regulations must be submitted by October 17 2020. The draft regulations are currently available in Arabic version only.
