Study by the World Bank on how many hours are required to do indirect tax compliance in each country in Europe for a medium sized business.
While we can all argue about the exact number of hours needed in a particular location, it gives a great insight into the complexity, in relative terms, between each country.
More importantly it might help sense check one’s current compliance setup in terms of resources, process & technology needed to achieve the desired compliance level.
