The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) issued Public Notice number 40 on 2 August 2020, to remind all taxpayers to ensure that in all instances, documents recording sales (i.e., invoices, tax invoices, till slips, receipts or other documents recording sales) are issued to customers. “Fiscalised” VAT registered operators (i.e., whose sales are recorded in real time on ZIMRA servers) are also required to issue fiscalised tax invoices or receipts.
