Deloitte India has released Three years of GST: Journey so far and the way forward, analysing the successes of India’s biggest tax reform – the introduction of Goods and Services Tax (GST) on 1 July 2017 – for both the government and taxpayers in the areas of policy, procedure, and technology. The report also discusses the key policy and procedural challenges faced, and highlights the principal generic and sector-specific areas where further developments may be expected.
