As many as three quarters of the population have felt the positive impact of the VAT reduction on water and sewerage since May this year. A total of 124 of the 131 largest cities reflected the change in the rate in the final price. Water companies reduced the payment for water and sewage by an average of CZK 3.73 / m3. This follows from the analysis of the Ministry of Finance on the impact of the change in the VAT rate on the price for water and sewerage.
