Simplicity and ease of compliance is what taxpayers primarily demand from a GST system. In the past three years, numerous judicial rulings have created a new set of problems that adversely affect an honest taxpayer’s business. There are instances where rulings oppose the crux and intention of the legislature. This, in our opinion, is far more detrimental.
