Critical deadlines are approaching as part of the transition to the new online electronic invoice (FEL) regime in Guatemala, which is being rolled out gradually by groups of taxpayers, including the 1 July 2020 date from which certain documents issued under the electronic invoice regime that is being phased out (FACE) will be automatically voided. This is among the deadlines established in Government Agreement No. 222-2019, published on 11 November 2019, which amended regulations under the VAT law in relation to electronic invoicing (e-invoicing).
