Florida is set to hold a sales tax holiday from May 29 – June 4, 2020 for disaster preparedness products. During this time, consumers can purchase qualifying products such as reusable ice packs, batteries, portable generators, and flashlights tax-free. There is no limit on the number of qualifying items you can purchase, and you do not need to issue an exemption certificate to claim the exemption.
