As of 1 January 2020, non-resident Uzbekistan are required to pay local VAT (15%) on a number of digital services provided to individual customers who live in Uzbekistan, use local bank accounts to pay the purchase price, have a network address registered in Uzbekistan or use a Uzbekistan phone number to make an order. VAT invoices now are issued only in electronic form.
