Last year, an explanation or clarification of European legislation was requested from the highest court in the EU 28 times. This has happened 167 times in the last five years. Only Germany (504), Italy (304) and Spain (237) preceded our country. Belgium ranks fifth with 157 so-called preliminary questions.
