HMRC has announced a temporary VAT zero rating for PPE (see here and Revenue & Customs Brief 4/2020).
Care will need to be taken in relation to issuing and processing invoices concerning relevant PPE in the UK (there should be no VAT charge on sales in the period from 1 May to 31 July 2020).
