The Romanian Government approved that no VAT will be paid at customs for import of COVID-19 test kits, protective equipment and disinfectants, medical equipment and medicines for treating people who have contacted the virus.
The importer will account for VAT under the reverse charge mechanism during the state of emergency plus additional 30 days after its end.
